Grass Fed Lamb

Our Sheep

The sheep are a recent addition to the farm and have already brought so much value to it! The amazing effects sheep have on the health of the pastures cannot be overstated. Not to mention they're pretty fun to watch grazing around. We have a variety of breeds and mixes of sheep including Katahdin, St. Croix, White Dorper, & Black Belly. These are all hair sheep breeds which mean they never grow a wool coat that needs to be sheared. Our sheep are raised on pasture their whole lives and are never given antibiotics or growth hormones. We're definitely enjoying growing the flock!

The Process

We offer the opportunity to purchase a whole animal to get all the best cuts at a discount! We start taking deposits so you can reserve your slot 4 weeks out from slaughter date. Any sheep under a year old is considered a lamb, after a year old it is considered mutton. We butcher all our lambs on site and offer custom processing on every order, so you can choose exactly which cuts you want for your favorite dishes! Lamb is typically aged for 7 days for best tenderness and flavor, so expect 10 days from slaughter date before delivery or pickup.
