Grass Fed Beef

Our Cattle

Over nearly 30 years of raising cattle, we've selectively bred our herd to be best suited to thrive in the particular environment of our farm. The majority of our herd are Red Devons, the premier breed for grass finished beef. Devons are known for their tenderness and high level of marbling even on an exclusively grassfed diet. We also have some remnants of black angus and longhorn genetics running in the herd, which is what you see showing up in our some of our black and spotted cows! We believe in a holistic management approach, so our herd is free from all growth hormones and antibiotics 

The Process

Currently well sell our beef in bulk, giving you the option of either getting a whole or half cow, letting you get all the best cuts for the best price. We take deposits 6-8 weeks out from the slaughter date so you can reserve your spot. All our beef is cut and packaged in a local USDA approved processing facility. We offer custom processing, so when you order a whole or half cow, you get the option to choose exactly which cuts you want. We typically age our beef for 14 days, so expect about 3 weeks from slaughter date before delivery or pickup

Cost per Hanging Weight: $7.50/lb 

(Includes Processing)

Kill & Transport Fee: $100

Currently all our beef is reserved until fall of 2025. Due to high demand, we recommended getting on the waiting list now to be notified as soon as we have availability. Priority is given to the first names on the list.
